With increased patient mobility, dental tourism is on the rise across the world. In order to acclaim and distinguish the foremost dental tourism providers worldwide, Novasans has initiated The Dental Travel Excellence Award. The award is bestowed to ten dental tourism facilitators and clinics across the world per year, carefully chosen by Novasans’ board of dental tourism stakeholders. Through patients selecting a recognized leading dental facility, Novasans adheres to its goal of ensuring high quality dental care at affordable prices.

Before receiving the award, each dental travel provider has to undergo a general evaluation process, assuring that the facility fulfills the criteria below.

Novasans’ Dental Travel Excellence Award Criteria:

• Operate for at least 5 years
• Provide cutting-edge technology
• Receive 1,000 dental tourists or above per year
• Cater to patients from across the world
• Received national or international accreditations and awards
• Operate an International Patient Center
• Provide international interpreters for at least 2 languages including English
• Provide transportation and accommodation services
• Provide remote dental consultation through telemedicine or online communication
• Provide cost estimations for anticipated treatments before booking

 
Dental providers must meet a minimum of eight of the categories above.
