In its quest to aid spa and wellness travelers through presenting a comprehensive range of guidance tools and knowledge, Novasans is happy to present The Novasans Spa Travel Excellence Award 2011. The award’s objectives are aimed at improving the quality of service, the therapists’ skills and operations management in order to raise spa industry standards along with guiding spa-goers through defining qualitative wellness institutions.  

The Novasans Spa Travel Excellence Award helps consumers navigate some of the gems throughout the spa world and spotlight the best operators in the industry, all honored for advancing the spa industry in quality, creativity and innovation.

Through setting this benchmark within the Spa sector, The Novasans Spa Travel Excellence Award celebrates the outstanding efforts of wellness institutions driving the exceptional standard of spas worldwide. Spas are assessed on a set of criteria including Spa Ambience, Personnel Skills, Tools, Products and Equipment, and Service Quality.
The Novasans Spa Travel Excellence Award is bestowed to Medi-Spas, Eco-Spas, Spa Retreats, Destination Spas, Day Spas and Urban Spas on an exclusive basis founded upon the following criteria:

Novasans Spa Travel Excellence Award Criteria

• Present innovative spa & wellness treatments;
• Feature a creative and informative website;
• Present easy access to information on treatments and pricing;
• Offer extensive spa menus, including signature treatments and packages;
• Availability for online reservations;
• Cater to patients from across the world;
• Provide international interpreters for at least two languages including English;
• Maintaining high quality of therapists’ skills from regular in-spa or out-spa training;
• Offer a spa product line that is proven popular, sustainable and result-oriented;
• Requesting and implementing spa client feedback after each treatment

Spa facilities must meet a minimum of eight of the categories above.
