History of Rutnin Eye Hospital
Rutnin Eye Hospital, the first private hospital specialized exclusively in Ophthalmology, was established in 1964 by Professor Dr. Uthai Rutnin MD, FACS. Dr. Uthai Rutnin was Thailand's first retinal specialist and the founder of the Ophthalmology Department of Ramathibodi Teaching Hospital of Mahidol University, one of Thailand's top medical schools.
