The establishment of the first Pantai Hospital was Pantai Medical Centre Bangsar, now known as Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur. In 1974, it started off as a 68-bedded hospital to serve the Malaysian community. It was the pioneer premier private hospital in Malaysia.
