International Center

Each year thousands of patients come to Cleveland Clinic from around the world for specialized medical care not readily available close to home.

Formally established in 1976, the International Center (functioning within the department of Global Patient Services) provides high-quality service and care to all international patients and their families.

The International Center's staff includes more than 60 Patient Service Specialists, Patient Service Coordinators, Financial Counselors and medical education experts striving to make sure all your special needs are met. History

The Cleveland Clinic welcomed its first patients on February 28, 1921. Already at that time, they founders had their mission clearly stated; "Better care of the sick, investigation into their problems, and further education of those who serve."
